WELCOME LETTER

From September 13 to 16,2018, the Annual Meeting of the China Society for industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM 2018) will be held in Chengdu Jinniu Political Consultative Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The conference is mean to communicate the latest academic progress and application achievement of industrial and applied mathematics, while combing crucial issue and difficult problem that urgently need to be solved in the industry.

This annual meeting is jointly organized by Sichuan University and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, with forms of invited talks, thematic symposia, embedded meetings, forums, posters, etc. Important awards of CSIAM of will be handed during the opening ceremony, which include CSIAM Su Buchin Prize, CSIAM Wu Wentsun Prize, CSIAM Xiao Shutie Prize and CSIAM Young Scholar Prize. The CSIAM Student Paper Prize will be selected and presented as well. Besides, the council meeting and standing committee meeting will be held during the conference.

We warmly welcome our members and colleagues in industrial and applied mathematics and related fields regardless of nationality to participate in this annual meeting. Looking forward to meeting you in Chengdu in September!
