CSIAM Activity Group on Complex Networks and Complex Systems was established in 2008, which was affiliated to the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The first director is Prof. Guanrong Chen, and the current director is Prof. Xiaofan Wang. The main task of the activity group is to build a high-level academic exchanging platform for complex networks, to carry out the international and national teaching research and academic exchanging activities in related fields, to enhance the in-depth cooperation on complex networks in academia and application fields, and to promote the development of complex networks in China. The activity group and Higher Education Press published a series of books on network science and engineering. The main research fields of activity group include the modeling, structure and function analysis of complex networks, dynamics on complex networks, network control, analysis and control of multi-agent systems, the crossing and applications of complex systems and other disciplines, and so on.
