CSIAM Activity Group on Mathematical Life Science
Introduction
CSIAM Activity Group on Mathematical Life Science is a new national academic organization established in 2017, approved by the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM). The mission of the activity group is to develop the academic activities in the interdisciplinary research between mathematics and life science, and build a forum that cuts across disciplines to catalyze mathematics to the life sciences. It will focus on the hot and common problems in the field to foster the application of mathematics to the life sciences and research in mathematics that leads to new methods and techniques useful in the life sciences. The target is to strengthen the connections between industry and academies in various aspects of cooperation and promote the development of academic ethics and research in the field.
